A Facelift for the Roadhouse - 20.01.05
After four years of continuous occupation by scores of guests, enjoying endless helpings of the world famous Amarula Cheesecake and everything else on offer, the Cañon Roadhouse has undergone a facelift. The old farmhouse with the reception, bar and restaurant area was given a complete makeover with a coat of paint and some refurbishing.

The guest accommodation was redecorated as well. The new base sets and bed linen match the freshly painted, earthy look of the comfortable rooms. The blinds were replaced with new ones made from recycled air filters.

A quiver tree nursery has been established between the main house and the swimming pool, which now receives more shade. The Roadhouse runs a full-service petrol station and remains the most popular stop en route to the Fish River Canyon.
