Another 14 rooms have been added to the Cañon Village. One and a half years after the accommodation facility was opened in August 2003, the extension became necessary because by now the Cañon Collection's profit centres are on the itineraries of all major tour operators. Even though most foreign visitors head to the north first, the Fish River Canyon is a must. Sometimes they all seem to flock to the Canyon on the same day, and every nook and cranny of Gondwana Cañon Park is fully booked.
